I cannot even believe I am living this life right now. 2011 was amazing in so many different ways. At this time last year I was finally realizing my dream of traveling the world by living in Taiwan; I was also living as the person who was still unhappy with himself.
I was only out of the closet to about 5 people and I was scared to admit who I really was. I was still doubting my life and doubting that I could truly be happy with who I was. I thought that I would return home from this amazing journey to a family that would not understand the person that I was….. I thought that I would be alone.
I am so thankful to say that I was wrong.
My family, and everyone around me, has been more supportive and understanding than I could have ever hoped for. I am free. I am not afraid anymore. I am me.
I finally feel like my life is beginning and I am not going to waste it.
So here I am a year later planning my return trip to Taiwan and living the life I never thought I would have. Let’s see what changes will happen in my life this year.
I am planning to write and post videos in this blog 2-3 times a week and want to show you guys my life here in Taiwan. Also, I hope that anyone who reads this gives me ideas for videos/posts, comments on things, asks questions, etc.
