F00D Part 1?

Dis post is dedicated to all of the awesome food I get to eat e'eryday. It is gonna go like dis. I am going to show pictures of food I eat often and then also show pictures of food that I may not eat often but that is totes amazing. Kewl.

Get it on---

This quite possibly is the best snack in the world: Hit Cookie Home

You can fill them with a bunch of different things (more than shown in the picture below)
Yeah, so I just had to start with that because I get that as a snack quite oftennnnn. Now I am going to just put a bunch of different pictures on and try to explain them the best that I can. But first, I think that I should explain that I live in a Night Market called "Feng Chia Night Market" and it is filled with the best food ever. Soooooo you should all be jealous. (That was a terrible explanation, I am aware of this)

This place is buffet style and I usually just get a bunch of veggies and then rice. $1.50 American.

Thai Food. This place is right by my dorm. This pic has fried rice and egg rolls. $2

I bought this from the Night Market one night. You can buy a sausage and then fill it with whatever (even Chocolate). The drink is Passion Fruit Juice

This are Japanese Style noodles that I had in Taipei.

Fried Pork topped with Cheesy sauce. I get this vurry often.

This is just a typical lunchbox that you can get in Taiwan. The lunchbox is usually meat and then you can pick 3 different types of vegetables.

This was in Tainan. It was interesting.
Brown Sugar Cookies

This is the cute old lady making the Brown Sugar cookies in Tainan.
This is from a bakery withing the night market and it is delish.

This is us eating Hot Pot in Taipei.

Nom nom nom. Noodles.

A lot of peepz like to eat at this restaurant. Meat, rice, veggies. Amazing.

The people at this dumpling place know me. Every time I walk there they are like "Dumplings?" and I am like "Ya grrrl" They literally may be the best dumplings ever. I love them and eat them at least once a week.

Lunch Time. Potatoes! Rare find in Taiwan.

Lunch= Fried Rice with Corn soup and Black Tea. You can get Corn Soup at a lot of restaurants here and it is amazinggngngngnngng.

Noodles in a bag for lunch.

This place is open all night. So if I get hungry at night and don't want to walk through the night market...I go here. It is like 1 minute from my dorm.

If you come to Feng Chia Night Market you have to eat this. It is famous and there is always a huge line to eat it. It is sausage and then instead of a bread bun the bun is made out of a sausage made out of rice. I am sure there is a better way of explaining that.

This is duck.

Japanese Restaurant for lunch and their curry is yum.

Yup, when we learn about tea in class we actually drink the tea. Oh, btw, most tea stands deliver (like da pizza in America). Cray, amIright? Oh and I don't think I have told anyone yet buttttt MCDonalds also delivers. 0_0

Dinner after Yoga

Shark Bites Toast feat. some weird tea.

Beef Noodle Soup w/ Tomatoes and Garlic. Dis is amazing. Srsly.

Thai Restaurant. Glass Noodles

Different Thai Restaurant. Very good pork.

Buy 1 get 1 (and they they always give another one for free) soooo this was worth about 1.50 American.

So cheesy.

Some more Thai food.

This Thai food cost like 2.50 American. It is da best.

I eat this for breakfast a lot. It is this old couple that makes it. So good. Pork, egg, lettuce, tomato, some sauce, cheese. $1 American.

I like buying this from the convenient store. Rose Tea. Btw, also a ton of convenient stores here. But they are better than in the US. Here, you can pay your house bills (electric, water, etc.), you can order something online and then pick it up at 7-11, you can buy tickets (bus, train, plane), etc.

Potstickers from the amazing dumpling place.

Kimchi Fried Rice for my last dinner of 2012 in Taipei

Lunch.

Taco Tuesday Night.

Michelin Star Rated Dumpling Restaurant w/ Leila and Verena

Seafood.

Pineapple Shrimp. Very good and I am for sure taking whoever comes to Taiwan to this restaurant solely for this.

My lunch today.  See how everything comes in bags here.

Tainan. Just bought me some tea. I guess I was super happy about that.

Right by my dorm. (one of the many drink stands) Their Strawberry Milk is gr8.

Tainan Night Market

Strawberry Milk

Sun Moon Lake lunch. It was vegetarian week for some reason that I didn't fully understand.
Sun Moon Lake Ice Cream

Sizzzzle

This is from the Night Market. Chicken + Cheese = yum (yum= heart attack)

Noodles are all up in that bread. This is also famous in the night market.

Once again the 大腸包小腸

This is famous in the night market also. You can get a baked potato and fill it with basically anything. I like the pineapple and cheese one.

Jes.

Stinky Tofu. I am going to force the members of my family that come to Taiwan to eat this.

This is a typical Taiwan breakfast. It is Dan Bing. It is kinda like an Omelette.
Okay dawgz, I lied. You can't do a Taiwan food post without also talking about the bajillion different types of drinks you can buy here. Like seriously. Walking from my dorm to my school I see an uncountable number of tea stands. Like this..

In this picture (this one pictureeeee) which is on the way to my school, I can count at least 5 beverage stands. So ya, pretty much it is the best thing ever.

And what can you buy at these stands? Well, one thing is CNN's Number 25 (out of 50) most delicious drinks in the world: Bubble Milk Tea.

Another video of how all of the drinks are made (depending what jew order)

愛玉. I love buying drinks with this in it.

Papaya Milk.

Drink in bagz. Always. (I know I already had this picture)

Very small part of the night market. Food stand after food stand...drink stand after drink stand. I will never go hungry here in Taiwan.
Okay, So I know that I have missed a ton of food that I need to talk about. So I am going to leave this post open. Maybe have a Part 2. Ya that sounds like a plan. But I tried to do some of the most famous and some of the things I eat most often. Also, about the drinks section. There are an unlimited variety of drinks and it will be impossible for me to name them all. Well I guess the same goes for the food section also.

Basically I just eat my life away in Taiwan.

Cool.
