Yuemei Amusement Park and Yesturrday.

Hey dudez,

It is raining outside and I have ample time to write in my blog :P so I thought I should probably do it.

So the other week we had a four day weekend since it was Tomb-Sweeping Festival (google it) and me and my classmate Theresia decided to go out and about.

One night we went to a department store over by the train station to check it out.... well we are poor(or just me, idk) so we abandoned that trip pretty fast and headed down the street to Yi Zhong Jie Night Market. It was funnnnnn. WE bought some clothes and mucho food. We ate fried chicken, a cup of corn, banana milk, and dim sum.... yummm, I know. The only annoying part of that night was that it was raining hard all day and night so there were puddles and I was wet and it was just mehhhh. But yes, still way fun.

Then that weekend we also decided that we wanted to go to a waterpark that is in Taichung! So we took the bus to the train station, took a train to the last stop, took a bus again and arrived to the park. It wasn't until that point that we learned the water park doesn't until May....so we went to the Amusement park right next to it instead. It was small but it was a fun day >< There was an awesome roller coaster that I went alone on since my friend was scared :P It was a good day out.

Now I shall talk about yesterday.

Yesterday, my friend Ben called me at 11 in the a.m. and asked if I wanted to go to a Flea Market at this American school in Taichung. I went and it was weird because that was the most American English that I had heard in about 8 months haha it was gross basically ;) But ya. After that we went to this other area and looked around...then went to this bakery to eat gooods. This was followed by eating dinner with two friends that I hadn't seen for months. It was extremely fun and it was good to see that my Chinese had improved so much because I saw them the end of last year and barely understood anything they were saying but now I was understanding like 95% sooooo YAAAAAAA!

BTW---Mother and Father----it was good that I saw this friend because he is a travel agent in Taiwan and he is going to help me plan some places to go that most foreigners do not know about >< yayayayay and give me names of restaurants to go to......PERFECT.

Boom. Pictures.

Harbin Ice Festival and Taichung Metropolitan Park

So this post is only going to be pictures because this is my only free day this break to actually try and get some studying done... and I don't want to write in my blog.

Harbin Ice Festival---- Me and Meliyani went to Hsinchu to the traveling ice show and it was really really fun and cold. My fingers hurt and our phones died... so it was death basically.

Taichung Metropolitan Park----Me and Ben the other day went to da purk and it was really big and cool. It had a great view and if I run out of things to do with my parents in Taichung then I can bring them there for the awesome view of the city ^^

Here we gooooo

Borrowing Ben's jacket for the rainy scooter ride home. I look thrilled with that news.

We bought some Dim Sum so we could sit down at their tables to eat our fried chicken. The system works.
