Rainbow Village & Miaoli.

Hey again.

Now I want to talk about some day trips that I have been on. The first one that I want to talk about is a trip that Magalie and I took to Rainbow Village (which is located in Taichung a.k.a the city whurr I live).

First let me link you to the back story of this village: READ DIS LINK

Okay, so now that you have read the article (and I trust that you have and are not lazzzyyyyyyy) I will let you know, in short, what we did that day.

Very short.

We decided to just take the 30 minute bus ride one day because the weather was great. Living in Taichung you come to realize that a bus usually comes frequently enough that you don't need to check the schedule. Well, we probably should have checked the schedule because we sat a this hot bus stop (mind you it was December and we were dying of heat) for a more than an hour. After an hour poor Verena started to get a headache and was unable to continue to Rainbow Village for a 'Next Top Model' picture taking session. So, it was up to me and Magalie to take home the gold. The bus finally came and after a 20 minute bus ride we made it.

Pictures followed.

Next story, is about my school Field trip that we went on on the 4th of January.

This semester for our Culture Trip the CLC took us to Miaoli which is about an hour away from my school in Taichung.

For the first stop we ended up at some Strawberry Fieldz whurr we could have picked Strawberries. I say 'could have' because the majority of people didn't because 1: it was kind of expensive and 2: most of the strawberries were green. Soooooo yes. But it was a cool spot to say the least and I finally got to travel with my friend Sunny that I traveled with a lot last year while I lived here. She is cool y'all.

We departed.

Our next stop was about a 15 minute drive away to this Strawberry Winery. Durr whurr big strawberry statues and I wanted one. meow. There isn't too much to talk about on this stop. Just wine and souvenir shops. yayaya. So I shall move on to the next one, on to the next one.

We drove another 20 minutes-ish to this old train station. Well, we almost drove to the train station. We had to hike for about 10 minutes up to the station where we all first ate some yum yum's.

I was not a big fan of the lunch though :S haha I had some intestine though. It was so great that I gagged a little bit.

After lunch we took some pictures around the old train station for a few hours and then headed down to a Wood Sculpture Museum. There were some really cool sculptures but I, needless to say, don't have any pictures of them because they were not letting us take pictures inside the museum. Trust me though, the were kewl.

Then we headed back home. Where I proceeded to exchange some pants that I had bought the previous day and then slept. For the next day of adventures. A day trip to Sun Moon Lake. Which I shall take time to write tomorrow after I sort through all the pictures and SLEEP!

Byeeee. Gimme suggestions. Not grammar suggestions though..I already know that it is terrible.

Thanks for reading! If you made it this far you must love me, you must REALLY love me.
